Bronze castingBronze casting manufacturers and suppliers to British and European standards. We are a UK manufacturer and supplier of casts suitable for a wide range of industrial, commercial and domestic applications and have specialised in sand castings for over three generations from our factory in Birmingham, England. A selection of alloys are employed in the Bronze casting process and these are typically alloys such as Copper 90%, Tin 6% and Zinc at 4% but dependent upon the application that these castings may be subjected to, these percentages can be altered to ensure the correct quality of casting alloys for the work involved. Although Bronze as a metal compound contains Copper, it is the incorporated use of other alloys which determine the different qualities of the castings. The incorporation of Tin for example in the alloy makes this particular alloy the strongest of all alloys with the sole exception of steel. Advantages of Bronze castingEvery type of Bronze casting offers excellent resistance to corrosion
which is further helped by a naturally occurring film which forms on the
metal due to the weathering of the alloy and assists in the anti-corrosion
characteristics. Should you wish to call us for any information regarding Bronze Casting then please use the details below or simply complete our customer enquiry form and we will contact you shortly.
